What is Nordlys?

Everyone’s skin is unique and not all skin conditions can be treated the same way. To help you reclaim your skin’s youthful look, texture and tone, our Riverchase providers use the Nordlys® system, which offers different state-of-the-art technologies to target problem areas such as dark spots or redness, to resurface the skin and to treat vascular conditions, nail disorders and warts.

Treatment Options

SWT (Selective Waveband Technology) IPL

SWT® IPL uses exclusive technology to target problem areas with narrow wavelengths of light. The result is less heat on your skin and fewer treatments compared to broadband IPL technology.

SWT IPL targets:

  • Dark spots
  • Uneven pigmentation
  • Freckles
  • Diffuse redness

Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Fractional Laser Resurfacing applicators deliver small, controlled bursts of energy to resurface skin. Treatments can be customized to your specific needs and take just a short time. Healing and recovery are quick. The treatment is clinically proven to improve the appearance of skin with a short downtime and minimal side effects.

Resurfacing targets:

  • Texture irregularities
  • Facial wrinkles and fine lines
  • Age spots
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Mild-to-moderate scarring from surgical procedures, acne or burns
  • Skin tags
  • Sebaceous hyperplasia (enlarged sebaceous glands that produce too much oil)
  • Milia (small, non-inflamed cysts)

YAG 1064

YAG 1064 nm laser is designed to treat vascular conditions and to clear nail and warts. It’s built-in SoftCool technology delivers a stream of cool air for greater comfort during treatment.

YAG 1064 targets:

  • Port wine stains
  • Leg veins
  • Broken capillaries
  • Diffuse redness
  • Hemangiomas
  • Clears nail (Onychomycosis)
