About Zarema Carrier

Zarema Carrier, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, is a certified nurse practitioner who joined Riverchase in 2024 with deep experience in general dermatology and surgical dermatology. She specializes in treating a wide range of skin conditions for patients of all ages, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and skin cancer screening and treatment.

Her mission is to use her extensive dermatology knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients. She takes pride in helping them restore their confidence and improve their quality of life. She considers it a privilege to treat patients of all ages and to build special long-term relationships with them and their families while managing their chronic and challenging skin conditions.

She is originally from Ukraine, where she graduated from Kiev National University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After moving to the U.S., she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at ETSU, graduating with high honors.

She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Dermatology Society, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Outside of work, Zarema enjoys traveling with her family and engaging in outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. Additionally, she likes to spend her time baking, cooking, gardening, gathering with friends, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones.
