About Shanna M. Miranti

Shanna Miranti, MPAS, PA-C is a nationally recognized Dermatology PA with over 23 years of clinical experience, practicing in both Jacksonville and Naples, Florida. A trailblazer in her field, Shanna was the founding Physician Assistant at Riverchase Dermatology, where she helped shape one of Florida’s leading dermatology practices. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Loyola University New Orleans, and went on to receive her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida, College of Medicine.

Deeply committed to advancing dermatologic education and a passionate advocate for PAs professional growth, Shanna holds leadership roles across the specialty. She serves on the Leadership Board for Diversity in Dermatology and RAPIDS Immuno-Dermatology Symposium (Elevate-Derm Alliance). Additionally, she lends her expertise as a member of the Editorial Advisory Boards for both Dermatology Times and the Journal of Dermatology for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants (JDNPPA). Shanna was the founder of the Southwest Florida Dermatology APP Society (@swfldermapps) where along with her peers holds quarterly Grand Rounds.

A respected national lecturer and passionate educator, Shanna also co-hosts the SkinSync Podcast, where she shares insights and conversations on clinical dermatology, innovation, and professional development.
