About Dr. Snyder

Robert A. Snyder, MD, FAAD, joined Riverchase Dermatology in 2017 with an exceptional background. He ran a private practice started in 1985 that focused on medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He graduated from Harvard College and received his MD from Boston University School of Medicine. His honors include serving as Alpha Omega Alpha vice president at Boston University and winning several awards, including the Chester S. Keefer Scholarship Award at Boston University School of Medicine, the Internal Medicine Award at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston City Hospital and the Nelson Paul Anderson Award of the Pacific Dermatology Association.

After completing his residency in internal medicine and dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco, he became board-certified in both specialties. Dr. Snyder is a volunteer clinical associate professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine and is also involved in clinical research with a special interest in psoriasis, vitiligo and complex medical dermatology.
