About Dr. Garcia

Mark D. Garcia, DO, FAAD, FAOCD, is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care. He believes that educating patients about their skin and empowering them with the knowledge to care for it can make a meaningful, lifelong difference.

Dr. Garcia earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri–Kansas City before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, now Kansas City University. He completed a traditional rotating internship followed by his dermatology residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

Dr. Garcia provides comprehensive medical dermatology services for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of skin conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. In addition to caring for patients, he has a passion for teaching and has been actively involved in educating medical students and residents throughout his career.

Dr. Garcia is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while helping patients achieve and maintain healthy skin for life.

Outside of the office, Dr. Garcia enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, creating art, traveling with his wife, Cherish, and cooking for family and friends.
