About Dr. Pennycook
Kevin Pennycook, DO, is a native of Troy, Mich. He completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University Honors College with a degree in human biology with high honor in 2015. He was a member of the Honors College from 2012-2015 and a member of the Dean’s List from 2011-2015. Dr. Pennycook attended medical school at Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2019.
During medical school, he served as a lab instructor for anatomy, histology and pathology. Dr. Pennycook fell in love with dermatology during his clinical rotations after experiencing the impact he could have on his patients’ lives. After graduation, Dr. Pennycook completed a transitional year internship with Wayne State University at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Mich.
In his free time, he enjoys a wide range of activities. He lives an active lifestyle and enjoys golf, fitness and hikes with his golden retriever pup. Rosie. He is a big sports fan and never misses a Michigan State Spartan football or basketball game. He recently has become interested in cooking and loves grilling out in his backyard with family and friends.
