Laura Taylor earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Laura applied her professional qualifications as an athletic trainer for 4 years before deciding to expand her career for which she received a bachelor's of nursing degree from Regis College in Weston, MA. Upon moving to Southwest Florida in 2007, Laura specialized in labor and delivery for 3 years while attending Florida Gulf Coast University where she graduated with a Master of Science of Nursing as a family nurse practitioner. Laura joined Riverchase in 2010 providing dermatological services as well as working closely with the renowned Dr. Charles Camisa of the Camisa Psoriasis Center.

Laura's area of expertise is primarily general dermatology including acne, skin growths, and moles. She also specializes in the diagnosis and management of psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and other skin conditions that require ultraviolet light along with cutting edge treatments. As a nurse practitioner Laura prides herself in utilizing the nursing model to provide holistic care with a focus on prevention, wellness, and patient education while making individualized care a
priority. Her devotion to helping others is emphasized by volunteering her time and services by performing health screenings throughout the community.

Laura spends her free time with her husband and two dogs enjoying the local attractions of Southwest Florida. Her special interests include boating and gardening as well as reading and cooking.
