Dr. Cohen has been engaged in the practice of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery for over 39 years, and has been a board certified dermatologist for 37 years. He is currently one of the most experienced Dermatologist in Southwest Florida.

Dr. Cohen’s dermatologic experience includes general and surgical dermatology, including a special interest in the diagnosis and surgical management of cancer of the skin. His expertise covers the full range of cutaneous diseases including treatment of the hair, the sebaceous glands, the sweat glands and nails. Dr. Cohen has extensive experience in the use of Collagen, Botox, and Restylane as well as other available filler substances. He is skilled in Sclerotherapy for the treatment of spider veins and the in office removal of varicose veins, utilizing the Ambulatory Phlebectomy Technique. In addition, Dr. Cohen is experienced in other cosmetic procedures including Dermabrasion, Micro Dermabrasion, tattoo removal, split ear repair and acid peels.

Dr. Cohen holds memberships in The American Osteopathic Association, The Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, The American Academy of Dermatology, The Florida Medical Association, The Collier County Medical Society, and the Florida Society of Dermatology.

He is a past President of The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and The Michigan Osteopathic Society of Dermatology.
