We are pleased to have the most comprehensive skin cancer center in Southwest Florida, offering several highly effective treatments for skin cancer, such as Mohs Micrographic Surgery as well as traditional treatment modalities. Riverchase is the only practice in the area to provide two fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic surgeons. Both myself and Dr. Andrew Kontos, MD, FAAD, are certified by the American College of Mohs Surgery and are certified in Cutaneous Oncology.

We are also the first private practice in the nation to provide DermaBeam™ electron radiation therapy as a non-surgical approach for the treatment of skin cancer. This modality uses a self-shielded electron beam radiation device that offers patients a high cure rate, minimal pain, and the potential for improved cosmetic outcomes.  For those patients where this therapy is a preferred option, we provide a convenient office setting where our dermatologists work in collaboration with radiation oncologists.  This multi-disciplinary approach is unique in in the management of skin cancer and we are pleased to offer an unparalleled level of comprehensive skin cancer treatment to the  Southwest Florida community.
