Leyda E. Bowes, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist joining Riverchase Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2017 with a prestigious background in the field. She is the founding medical director of Bowes Dermatology Group and the highly acclaimed CoolSculpting Center of Excellence in Miami, Florida – both of which are recent affiliates of Riverchase. Dr. Bowes takes pride in offering patients the most advanced treatments and care in dermatology and aesthetics, earning her a following from across the country and abroad. Dr. Bowes graduated from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine where she completed her residency in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. She completed a two-year Fellowship in Lasers at Harvard Medical School, where she trained at world renowned Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Bowes also completed a one-year Fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. She also served as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology. Dr. Leyda Bowes is a worldwide renowned expert in CoolSculpting and travels nationally and internationally to lecture and train physicians on this procedure. She is also a highly respected authority on the latest aesthetic procedures in skin rejuvenation.
